Pecha Kucha Amsterdam

As you might know, the unforgiving nature of the clock is central to the Pecha Kucha concept, where people are invited to present 20 slides in 20 minutes. For the Amsterdam chapter of this global phenomenon Sue Doeksen and I created an identity, very conveniently, based on the modular system of a flip clock.

The type and illustrations are always combinations of two separate elements which combine to form a character of illustration — just another one of the surprising combinations of the fruit machine that is Pecha Kucha.
