Jump into the Future (2017)

The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam suggested using one particular image for the Jump Into The Future poster for The Borgmann Donation exhibition. Which was fine, except that the image was a 300×400 pixels scan aging back to 1981. When blown up to poster size, it became a rough, pixelated, kaleidoscopic splash of colour.

These pixels became the basis for a typographic approach. Tiling the image in a multitude creates a series of glimpses into the future, each of which could lead to a different outcome, another future.
