When I thought of the future
Every year starts as a clean slate that we fill with dates, anniversaries, birthdays, parties, deadlines, concerts, etc etc. Some are days we hope will never come, other days can’t come soon enough. This calendar is build up from the idea that the year grows and events that happen have a lasting effect on the course of the year to come.

The Zwaan 2014 calendar became a pile of memories where every day builds up to form a giant portrait of the year 2014 would eventually become. Something that begins as the future and ends as the past, so at the end of the year you can look back and see where you’ve been and what led you to where you are now.
